OUTBREAK ALERT UPDATE: As of August 9, 2018, a total of 436 laboratory-confirmed cases of Cyclospora infection were reported in people who consumed salads from McDonald’s restaurants; the cases were reported by 15 states. The investigation is ongoing and the FDA is currently reviewing distribution and supplier information for romaine and carrots.

Allergy Alert: Country Favor Inc. recalls Best Taste Brand Snack Ginger Sliced food treats (7-oz pkg; Product of Vietnam) due to undeclared sulfites.

Food Safety Recall: Stoltzfus Family Dairy LLC recalls Pasteurized Creamline chocolate milk (plastic 12-ounce, quart, half gallon and gallon containers; container codes 8-16-18 and 8-24-18) due to improper pasteurization.

Allergy Alert: Les Viandes du Breton recalls Noble Grill Premium Pork Tenderloin Supreme Pepper (approx. 400g; Best Before 18AU28) due to undeclared mustard.
