United States

Allergy Alert: Nine Whole Foods Market stores in Northern California recall some decorated (iced) cookies from the self-service cookie displays due to undeclared egg and (in one instance) undeclared wheat. Please refer to the recall notice for full details.

Allergy Alert: Hatimy Market (Buffalo, NY) recalls Minar brand “Golden Raisins” blend (200g plastic bag; Product of South Africa; Product code 776476781053) due to undeclared sulfites.

Food Safety Recall: La Granja INC recalls Hand crafted Paleteria, Mango Flavored Ice cream (Expiration dates 210218 (February 21, 2018) and 280218 (February 28, 2018) UPC 0010439212) due to potential contamination with Salmonella Enteritidis. The recalled product was distributed in Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina through retail stores and by direct delivery.

Food Safety Recall: Kemps recalls Kemps Yo2 Frozen Yogurt, various flavors (16 oz) due to potential plastic from packaging in the product. Please refer to the recall notice for details.

Food Safety Alert: New York State Agriculture Commissioner warns consumers not to eat salted fish sold by 5th Ave. Kings Fruit and Vegetable Corporation located at 6824 5th Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. The uneviscerated fish is at risk for contamination with Clostridium botulinum.

Dietary Supplement Safety Recall: Organic Herbal Supply, Inc. recalls all lots of Uproar, Cummor, Zrect, Monkey Business, Xrect, Rectalis, Tornado, Zdaily, BigNHard, Enhancerol Natural Male Enhancement capsules following the detection by FDA of tadalafil in the products, and also recalls all lots of Zrect for Women and LabidaMAX after FDA finds that these products contain Flibanserin, an FDA-approved prescription drug for Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD) in women. Canada

Allergy Alert: High Liner Foods Inc. recalls High Liner Captain’s Crew brand Breaded Fish Strips (750g; Product codes 7082U, 7048U, 7006U, 6293U followed by a time stamp) and High Liner Captain’s Crew Breaded Fish Nuggets (750g; 7082U, 7048U, 7006U followed by a time stamp) due to undeclared milk.

Allergy Alert: Détour en France (Lac-Etchemin, QC) recalls NOTRE CASSOULET TOULOUSAIN (740 g) due to undeclared milk.

Food Safety Recall: Flamaglo Foods Ltd. recalls Yoso brand Soygo Fermented Cultured Soy, plain, raspberry, blueberry and vanilla flavors (440g; Product code 17 MA 19 d5) due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recalled products were sold through retailers in British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec.

Food Safety Recall (Update): Ardent Mills expands its earlier recall to include additional flour products that may be contaminated with E. coli O121. Please refer to the consolidated list of recalled products for complete details. Some of the recalled items were sold through Costco Canada.

Europe

Allergy Alert (Finland): Pohjolan Peruna Oy recalls Mummon Perunarieskahiutaleita (Production code 091117-1) due to undeclared milk.

Allergy Alert (Ireland): Food Safety Authority of Ireland warns that Plamil Expressions No Added Sugar Chocolate with Sweetener Xylitol (100g; Best before 22/9/18; Batch #09:25I.D. 1656 T2) contains undeclared peanut.

Allergy Alert (UK): Fazal’s recalls five confectionery products due to undeclared wheat. Please refer to the recall notice for a list of affected products.

Food Safety Recall (Belgium): Eko-Land brand Chocolate & Hazelnut Spread (400g; Lot L2 17616*0640; Best by 24/08/2017) has been recalled due to potential for contamination with particles of glass.

Food Safety Recall (Sweden): Skånemejerier recalls Fresh Whipped cream 40% (0.5 L; Production date 2017-04-12; Expiry date 2017-04-21), because the product is contaminated with cleaning solution.

Australia and New Zealand

Allergy Alert (Australia): Roberts Confectionery recalls Dark Chocolate Melting Buttons (300g; All best before dates up to and including April 2018) due to undeclared milk.
