Allergy Alert: A.S.K. Foods, Inc. and Hannaford Supermarkets recall Hannaford Supermarkets’ TASTE OF INSPIRATIONS GREEK PASTA SALAD (Net Wt. 10 oz. (284g); Lot code SELL BY: 6-5-17 3649-1; UPC 25439 98423) due to undeclared milk. The recalled product was was distributed and sold at Hannaford Supermarkets in ME, NY, MA, NH and VT.

Allergy Alert: The Kroger Co. recalls Kroger Dessert Cups –Yellow Sponge Cake (6.5 oz., 6 Pack; all codes; UPC 11110-18550) due to undeclared milk. The recalled product was sold in all stores operating under names Kroger, Owen’s, Pay Less, Scott’s, Gerbes, Ruler Foods, Dillons, Baker’s, Food4Less and Jay C, located in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Allergy Alert: Price Chopper recalls Honest Kids Berry Berry Good Lemonade – 8pk (UPC 57622 41983) due to undeclared strawberry and watermelon juices.

Food Safety Recall: P&S Bakery, Inc. recalls Gia Russa brand “DOUBLE STUFFED Pepperoni Roll PEPPERONI & MOZZARELLA (5.25-oz. clear plastic wrapped packages; lot/case code 17088) due to extraneous material contamination. The recalled productwas shipped to distributors and retail locations in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Food Safety Recall: The Kroger Co. recalls Simple Truth Dry Roasted Macadamia Nuts (12 oz; Sell by May 02 2018; UPC 11110-02478) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Kroger, Bakers, Gerbes and Dillons stores operating in the following states are included in this recall: Ohio, Southeast Indiana, Northern Kentucky, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri.

Food Safety Recall: Smucker Foods of Canada Corp., in collaboration with FDA, recalls specific production codes of Golden Temple®, Swad®, and Maya® flour products due to potential E. coli O121 contamination. Food Safety Alert (Hong Kong): Centre for Food Safety urges the public not to consume kind of cheese with truffle imported from the Netherlands, as the product might have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. A small quantity of the cheese was imported into Hong Kong by The Dutch Limited.

Phoenix Food initiated the precautionary recall after learning of the recent recall of jalapeno powder by the supplier.

Food Safety Recall: Our Local Bounty (Rogue River, OR) recalls Farming Fish brand Organic Basil Pesto with Watercress (8.5 oz containers; UPC 7 23175 33586 8; enjoy or freeze by dates of 4/30/2017, 5/6/2017, 5/13/2017, and 5/20/2017) due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Food Safety Recall (Update): McCain Foods USA, Inc. expands its earlier recall of frozen hash browns to include Wegman’s O’Brien Hash Browns (Production code date B161021; UPC 07789036523) following receipt of two additional consumer complaints of the hard plastic or rubber pieces. The Wegman’s product was distributed in the states of Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Food Safety Recall: Fineberg Packing Co., Inc. (Memphis, TN) recalls FINEBERG’S Finest Danish Brand BBQ Flavored Ham (14-lb package; Sell by date 03/26/2017; case code 17016) and Holly Brand hickory smoked fully cooked HAM (30.6-lb. boxes containing 2 vacuum-sealed packages; Case code 17016) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recalled items were shipped to distributors in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee.
