United States

Allergy Alert: Simply Fresh Foods, Inc. recalls San Francisco Seafood Salad Made with Greek Yogurt (4 x 4-oz pkg; Use by 10/15/17 B10; UPC 47502 19701) due to undeclared milk.

Allergy Alert: Northside Noodle Company recalls Ragazzo’s ITALIAN STYLE MEATBALL MIX (1-lb polystyrene foam packages; Lot codes 2008, 2024 and 2044; Produced June 6, 2017, June 27, 2017 and Aug. 2, 2017) due to undeclared soy. The recalled product was shipped to Super One Foods in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Allergy Alert: Wegmans recalls Assorted Muffins 4 Pack (UPC 77890-22744) due to undeclared walnuts.

Food Safety Recall: Garden of Life, LLC recalls Baby Organic Liquid (Expiration date 12/2018; Lot Nos. 5487617, 5487717, 5487817 and 5500817; UPC 58010 12073) because the product, as labeled, includes directions for use that may be misinterpreted. The company is concerned that if not administered precisely following the labeled instructions, the product may present difficulties in swallowing and potentially pose a choking hazard due to the thickness of the liquid.

Food Safety Recall: Country Fresh Orlando, LLC recalls various products (Best if Used by dates between August 12, 2017 through August 20, 2017) due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Please refer to the recall notice for a detailed list of affected products, which were supplied to Southeastern Grocers, Publix Supermarkets Inc. and Walmart Stores Inc. in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Canada

Food Safety Recall (Update): The British Columbia Center for Disease Control (BCCDC) and the Alberta Health Services (AHS) advise consumers that an ongoing investigation into hepatitis A virus in pineapple chunks has identified additional products that may be affected. Please refer to the BCCDC and AHS notices for a detailed list of affected products and retail distribution information.

Europe

Allergy Alert (Germany): Minderleinsmühle GmbH & Co. KG recalls Rosengarten organic berries muesli (750g; Best by 28.05.18) due to undeclared milk and soy.

Food Safety Recall (Czech Republic): Diana Company s. r. o.  recalls Goji dried fruit (imported from China; Batch PFT17023 and NH20170301) due to contamination with carbofuran pesticide.

Food Safety Recall (Denmark): Arla Foods recalls Yoggi Vanilje med Top (170g; Best before 25/09/2017) due to potential for yeast growth.

Food Safety Recall (Germany): Fa. Nocker GmbH recalls Lyoner strips (300g and 1 Kg) due to Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Food Safety Recall (Germany): Schwarz Cranz GmbH & Co. KG recalls Gourmet Pork Ham, top quality, reduced fat (175g; Best by 16.10.2017; Batch code L3194057613, MHD 16.10.2017) due to staphylococcal enterotoxin.

Asia, Africa and the Pacific Islands

Food Safety Recall (Israel): Ma’Of Galil Ltd. recalls shell eggs (Date stamps up to and including Oct 20) due to contamination with Salmonella enteritidis.

Australia and New Zealand

Allergy Alert (Australia): North Foster Pty Ltd trading as Treat Dreams Australia recalls Treat Dreams Chocolate Bar – Caramel (100g; Best Before 30 November 2017) and Treat Dreams Chocolate Bar – Peanut Butter and Jam (100g; Best Before 30 November 2017) due to undeclared wheat and peanuts. The recalled products were sold at The Cruelty Free Stores in NSW and VIC.

Allergy Alert (New Zealand): Hellers Ltd recalls Hellers brand Breakfast Angus Beef sausages (10-pack; Use by 22/09/17) due to undeclared gluten. The recalled product was sold at Pak’nSave, New World and Four Square supermarkets throughout the South Island.

Food Safety Recall (Australia): Snack Brands Australia recalls Kettle Sea Salt Kettle Fried Potato Chips (175g and 300g packets; Best before 11NOV17) and Kettle Rosemary and Sea Salt Kettle Fried Potato Chips (175g packets; Best before 11NOV17) due to the presence of white rubber pieces that may cause injury if consumed. The recalled products were sold at Coles (NSW) and Woolworths (NSW and Victoria).

Food Safety Recall (New Zealand): Wanaka Milk Company Ltd recalls Udderly Fresh Raw Milk brand raw (unpasteurised) drinking milk (various sizes; Batch 294, 295, 296, 297, 298, 299, 300, 301, 302, 303; Use by 18 August 2017 – 27 August 2017) due to Campylobacter contamination.
