Food Safety Recall: Fourth Street Barbecue Inc. Packing Division recalls Save-A-Lot  Pick 5 Mix & Match Chicken & Waffle Sandwich (14.4 oz; UPC 051933353664) due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

Food Safety Recall: Trident Seafoods Corporation recalls Trident Seafoods frozen Multi-Grain Alaskan Cod (12 oz; UPC 0 28029 21048 4) because they may contain small pieces of plastic. Please refer to the recall notice for a list of affected lot codes. The recalled products are sold at Albertsons, Amazon, Cub Foods, Jewel, Morey’s, Plaza Extra, Shaw’s, Shoprite, Sprouts, SUPERVALU, and Woodman’s retailers.

Food Safety Recall: NY Livestock Market, Inc. (Brooklyn, NY) recalls NY LIVESTOCK MARKET, INC. BUDDHIST RELIGIOUS EXEMPT (4.9-lb. young whole chickens, with head and feet intact; Produced and packaged April 10, 2017) due to contamination with the antibiotic residue nitrofurazone. The recalled chickens were shipped to restaurants and retail locations in New York state.

Food Safety Recall: Kabob’s Acquisition, Inc. recalls Kabobs MONTE CRISTO TURKEY BREAST, HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICH (13.25-lb. bulk cases; Case codes: PM14E27, PM14H14, PM14J10, PM14E01, PM14E12, PM14E13, PM15C26, PM15E06, PM15G23, PM14L18, PM15A08, PM15C26, PM15K20, PM16B08, PM16B09, PM16F22, PM16F24, and PM17B01) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Food Safety Recall: Publix Super Markets recalls Publix Deli Artichoke and Spinach Dip (16 oz; Use-by-dates of  May 16 A1 and May 16 C1) due to the possibility of the product containing small glass fragments.

Food Safety Recall: Aldi and Dutch Packing Co. recall Garcia Brand Beef Smoked Sausage (1.75 lb box; Best by 06/19/17 and 06/26/17; UPC 054912200201) as the product may be contaminated with extraneous materials.

Food Safety Recall: Publix recalls Salmon Florentine Gratin and Scallops Florentine Gratin seafood ready-to-cook products made with Publix Deli Artichoke and Spinach Dip due to the possibility of the product containing small glass fragments.

Food Safety Recall: Tyson Foods recalls Hillshire Brands Chef Pierre® Quiche due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled product was supplied to food service distributors, including US Foods.

Allergy Alert: Kaspol Trading Inc. recalls Knorr brand Goracy kubek zurek z grzankami (17g; Product codes 01/2017, 08/2016, 11/2014; UPC 7 12100 86693 7) and Knorr brand Ekspresowy barszcz bialy (45g; Product code 03/2017; UPC 7 12566 13077 1) due to undeclared milk.

Allergy Alert: Loblaw Companies Limited recalls PC Blue Menu brand Buttermilk Protein Pancake Mix (340g; All codes; UPC 0 60383 18131 4) and PC Blue Menu brand Apple Cinnamon Flavour Protein Pancake Mix (340g; All codes; 0 60383 18132 1), because the lupin pulse flour ingredient may produce a reaction in individuals who are allergic to peanuts.

Food Safety Recall: Newmarket Meat Packers Limited recalls All veal cuts that could be used as precursor material (Packed-on dates from March 22 to April 11, 2017) due to potential E. coli O157:H7 contamination. The recalled products were supplied to restaurant/hotel/institutional customers in Ontario.
