OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION (Update): CDC reports 7 new cases of Listeria monocytogenes in an illness outbreak for which a source has not yet been identified. This brings the total number of cases in the ongoing outbreak to 18 cases in 15 states. Seventeen of the eighteen confirmed outbreak victims have required hospitalization.
