Outbreak/Illness Investigations
USA (Louisiana): The Louisiana Department of Health is investigating 11 cases of illness linked to consumption of raw milk from three different milking operations in the state. Outbreak victims have tested positive for campylobacteriosis and/or cryptosporidiosis. Two people have been hospitalized.

Food Safety Recall: Joy Gourmet Foods LLC. recalls multiple Lassi products (Expiry June 30 through July 30, 2026) due to inadequate pasteurization.
Pet Food Safety Recall: Midwest Legacy Beef, L.L.C. recalls Midwest Legacy Raw Beef Dog Food BLT & Bones (5 lb; Batch A6062) due to possible Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, and E. coli O157:H7 contamination.

Allergy Alert: Boris et Biscotti (Chicoutimi, QC) recalls various prepared dishes due to undeclared wheat, soy, and sulphites.
