OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION: CDC reports an outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes infections linked to deli meat and cheese sold at deli counters. The federal agency has received confirmed reports of 16 illnesses from 6 states. One person has died and 13 required hospitalization. The specific source of the infections has not yet been determined.
Food Safety Recall: Menu19 LLC recalls Mantu menu19 frozen beef dumpling products (1.5-lb. cartons; Produced in produced in November 2020 through October 23, 2022; UPC 86000524010) because they were produced without benefit of federal inspection.

PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT: The Québec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food urges the public to discard any meat products purchased at la ferme Deaubel, located at126, route Dostie, Saint-Romain, QC, because the products were prepared and packed under conditions that render them potentially unsafe to consume
