United States

OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION UPDATE: Washington State Department of Health is reporting four additional cases of E. coli O157:H7 infections, according to a report published in Food Safety News. The state has stated that the illnesses likely are linked to consumption of organic yogurt produced by Pure Eire Dairy

Public Health Alert Update: USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) issues a public health alert for approximately 130,860 pounds of frozen fully cooked, diced chicken products because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Allergy Alert: Gilster-Mary Lee Corp. recalls Full Circle Organic Microwave Popcorn Salted (9.9 oz; Best by APR 09 22 N2; UPC 36800-40611) due to undeclared milk.

Allergy Alert: Giant Eagle, Inc. recalls Chicken Street Taco Kits (Sell-by dates throiugh 05/28/21; PLU 56598) due to undeclared egg.

Allergy Alert: Legacy Food Company, Inc. recalls approximately 67,895 pounds of beef jerky due to undeclared sesame oil. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete llist of affected products.

Food Safety Recall: Randall Foods, Inc. recalls Hurst brand Fully Cooked Great Northern Beans (48-oz glass jar; Lot #TGN19253; Best by 9/9/2022; UPC 0 256012 0) due to manufacturing deviations that may pose a potential health risk.


Food Safety Alert: CFIA warns the public not to consume Our Father’s Farm brand apricot kernel products due to risk of cyanide poisoning. Please refer to the Food Safety Alert for a complete list of affected products.

Food Safety Recall Update: Produits Africa recalls two Sauce MbaMbi products because the conditions under which they were prepared and packaged may render them unsafe to consume. Please refer to the recall notice for complete details on the affected products.

Food Safety Recall: Comptoir La Boustifaille recalls SOUPE AUX LÉGUMES ORDINAIRE / Regular vegetable soup (1L; Sold up to and including 26 May 2021) due to omission of mandatory “Garder réfrigéré” labeling.
