United States
OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION: The FDA, CDC and state and local partners are investigating an outbreak of seven Listeria monocytogenes illnesses in four states linked to hispanic-style fresh and soft cheese. FDA is investigating to try and determine the source of the outbreak. Cases have been reported in Connecticut, Maryland, New York and Virginia.

Food Safety Recall Update: Orca Specialty Foods Ltd. recalls One Ocean brand Sliced Smoked Wild Sockeye Salmon (300g; Code #11253; UPC 6 25984 00005 3) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Food Safety Recall: Pastene Enterprises ULC recalls Pastene brand Green Olives Sliced (398 ml; Lot #A14 L111020; Best before 2023/AL/20; UPC 0 66086 07099 3) due to container integrity defects.

Allergy Alert (Belgium): N.B.S. sprl recalls Daruma brand Shiitake mushrooms (50g; Lot #QDMS-0120; Best before 28/08/2022) due to undeclared sulphites.
Allergy Alert (Ireland): Lidl Ireland recalls three varieties of Alesto Raw Kulki Daktylowe / Protein balls due to absence of English-language labeling declaring the presence of peanuts, cashews, milk or sulphur dioxide. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products.

OUTBREAK ALERT (Singapore): The Ministry of Health and Singapore Food Agency have suspended the food business operations of Hooi Kee Eating House due to an investigation of two cases of typhoid fever reported by patrons of the restaurant.
