PET FOOD SAFETY ALERT AND RECALL: Midwestern Pet Foods, Inc. recalls several Sportmix brand dog food and cat food products due to tests indicating levels of Aflatoxin that exceed acceptable limits. FDA is aware of at least 28 deaths and 8 illness in dogs that consumed the implicated pet food. Please refer to the recall notice and the FDA alert for additional information.
