United States

Allergy Alert: Aldi recalls Choceur Dark Chocolate Bars (5.29 oz.; Best before July 24, 2018; UPC 4149817964) due to undeclared almonds. The recalled product was sold in Aldi stores in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kentucky, West Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida and Texas, and was also available for purchase to ALDI customers in the Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles areas through the company’s partnership with Instacart, a grocery delivery service.

Food Safety Recall: Harvesters—The Community Food Network recalls Bibi Frutix candy product due to contamination with a chemical substance.

Canada

Allergy Alert: Persia Foods recalls Kasanda brand Liquid Pasteurized Kurd (250g, 500g & 700g; UPC 6 262685 800373, 6 262685 800298 & 6 262685 800366, respectively) due to undeclared milk. The recalled products were supplied to retailers in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario

Food Safety Recall (Update): Imperial Caviar & Seafood recalls VIP Caviar Club Trout Roe (50g; Best before 11-OCT-2018; Lot #28417-01; UPC 1 86866 51016 4) due to potential presence of Clostridium botulinum. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in Quebec.

Food Safety Recall: Pfenning’s Organic Vegetables Inc. recalls Pfenning’s Organic Vegetables Inc. Carrot Juicer (25 lbs; Product code 307RA) due to contamination with pieces of metal. The recalled product was supplied to retailers in Ontario.

Allergy Alert (Belgium): Kubizz B.V. recalls Montevergine Nougat Bar Peanuts/ Kerstverpakking (80g; Lot #25652565; Best before 01/09/2018) due to undeclared egg.

Allergy Alert (Germany): GEPA mbH recalls Curry Sauce (Article #1662009) due to undeclared mustard.

Allergy Alert (Ireland): Food Safety Authority of Ireland alerts consumers to the presence of undeclared mustard and/or milk in several Big Als and Goldstar Chicken Products. Please refer to the posted notice for a complete list of affected products.

Food Safety Recall (Denmark): Skare Food A/S recalls Cooked sliced ​​organic roll sausage (70g; Best before 05-12-2017) due to Listeria contamination.

Food Safety Recall (Denmark): GRISOGKO ApS recalls Marinated Turkey Schnitzel (Production dates 20-11-2017, 22-11-2017, 27-11-2017 and 29-11-2017; Batch #865) due to Salmonella contamination.
