Food Safety Recall: Star Snacks Co. recalls Southern Grove Cashew Halves and Pieces with Sea Salt (8 oz (225g); Best by date 11/27/18 & 11/28/18; UPC 041498179366) due to the potential presence of glass pieces. The recalled product was distributed to ALDI stores in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC., Wisconsin and West Virginia.

Canada

Allergy Alert: Lacrem inc. (St. Sauveur, QC) recalls various vegan frozen desserts due to undeclared milk. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products.

Allergy Alert: Figues et Romarin (Blainville, QC) recalls various ready-to-eat dishes due to undeclared wheat. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products.

Allergy Alert: Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. recalls RI Wang Food brand Beef Tendon Balls (170g; Best before 2017/AU/26; UPC 6 16641 46335 9) due to undeclared egg. The recalled product was distributed to retailers across Canada.

Allergy Alert (Update): Best & Fresh Co. Ltd. recalls Stir-Fry Chow Mein Noodle (350g; All best before dates up to and including JN27; UPC 0 68971 00102 0) due to undeclared egg. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in Nova Scotia and Ontario and may have been distributed across Canada.

Food Safety Recall: Canada Herb recalls Red Thai Chili Pepper (1 lb; Product code 180-10555683) due to E. coli contamination. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in Ontario.

Food Recall: Shah Trading Co. Ltd. recalls Dunya brand and Tassili brand Deglet Noor Dates due to insect contamination. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products. The affected products were distributed to retailers in Ontario and Quebec.

Food Recall: Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks Ltd. recalls Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks brand Bean Me Up Espresso Milk Stout (355 mL and 650 mL cans; All codes sold before May 30, 2017; UPC 7 28943 67423 1 and 6 27843 38578 3, respectively) due to swelling and leaking cans. The recalled products were distributed to retailers in Alberta and British Columbia.

Allergy Alert (UK): Ashbourne Foods Ltd recalls Sugar ‘n’ Spice Gluten Free Chocolate Brownies (70g; Batch code 4/9/17; Best before 4 September 2017) due to undeclared gluten.

Food Safety Recall (Belgium): Exotic City recalls ZOMI brand Palm Oil (75 cl; Lot no. 05 mai 2015; Best before 31/12/2017) due to the presence of Sudan Red dye.
