Allergy Alert: Ethnic Foods Inc. recalls Bhavnagri Mix snack mix (19 oz; Lot # 28517, 31917, 33817, 35317, 01118, 02318, 02918, 05118, 07318) due to undeclared peanut.

Food Safety Recall: Pinnacle Foods Inc. recalls approximately 32,479 pounds of heat-treated, shelf stable beef products due to a possible processing deviation that may have led to staphylococcal enterotoxin and clostridial toxin contamination. Food Safety Recall: Greenbelt Greenhouse Ltd. (British Columbia, Canada) recalls all Greenbelt Microgreen products (All best before dates from 4/24/18 and 4/30/18) due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The affected Greenbelt Microgreens brand microgreens were distributed to Whole Foods stores in Washington between 04/11/18 and 04/24/2018.

Outbreak Alert/Food Safety Recall (Australia): Rockmelons from a single grower in Nericon, New South Wales have been linked to an outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes illnesses in ten (10) elderly people in New South Wales (6 cases), Victoria (1 case) and Queensland (3 cases) between January 17 and February 9, 2018. The company ceased production after receiving notification of the problem and the implicated produce has been removed from the market.

Sukhi’s Gourmet Indian Foods recalls Sukhi’s CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA with NAAN BREAD & BASMATI RICE (11-oz. frozen microwaveable sealed containers; Use by 11/07/2018; Lot #83790) due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled items were shipped to a distributor in California.

Trader Joe’s recalls Trader Joe’s Broccoli Slaw and Kale Salad with White Chicken Meat (Use by 10/10 through 10/13; SKU #50286) due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled product was sold in Trader Joe’s retail stores in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah.

International House of Caviar Ltd. recalls AKI brand Chum Salmon Caviar (50g; Lot #L N16319.14; Best before 2017/11/17; UPC 6 28451 22603 1) because the product may permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario, and may have been distributed nationally.

Maple Leaf Foods recalls Maple Leaf brand Chicken Breast Strips (840g; Best Before 2018 SE 29; UPC 0 63100 03089 6) because the product may contain the toxin produced by Staphylococcus bacteria. The recalled product was distributed to retailers nationally.
