Outbreak/Illness Investigations
USA: CDC and FDA are investigating 11 cases of Salmonella Anatum illnesses in 10 US states. Four people have been hospitalized. The outbreak is linked to consumption of frozen sprouted mung beans produced and supplied by Chetak LLC Group.

Food Safety Recall Update: Marini Foods Limited recalls multiple additional brands and varieties of Salami and Cacciatore due to possible Salmonella contamination. This expanded recall is linked to an ongoing investigation of a Salmonella outbreak.
