EGYPT: Localized foodborne illness cluster reported in Mout, New Valley Governorate, Egypt

USA (Update): CDC reports two additional cases of E. coli O157:H7 infections in a three-state outbreak linked to raw cheese and raw milk sold by Raw Farm, LLC. Three of the nine outbreak victims have been hospitalized; one victim is suffering from HUS. The FDA has initiated an inspection of the Raw Farm, LLC facility.

LATVIA: The Center for Disease Prevention and Control is investigating an outbreak of Salmonella that has sickened at least 120 people.

USA (Update): FDA has initiated an inspection as part of its investigation into an outbreak of a seven-case outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 illnesses linked to raw cheddar cheese. Two people have been hospitalized.

USA (Update): FDA and CDC report 97 cases of Salmonella Typhimurium and Salmonella Newport infections in a 32-state outbreak linked to Why Not Natural Pure Organic Moringa Green Superfood capsules and Live it Up Super Greens dietary supplement powder. The FDA investigation is ongoing; however, the CDC has declared the outbreak to be over.

USA: Three cases of foodborne botulism reported in Arizona, USA, linked to homemade fermented swordfish.

USA: CDC reports a three-state outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infections linked to consumption of raw milk-cheddar cheese produced by RAW FARM, LLC. Seven cases have been confirmed so far, and two of the victims were hospitalized. The company has declined to recall the implicated products.
