Outbreak/Illness Investigations

USA (Update): FDA has found E. coli O157:H7 in a sample of raw milk cheese from RAW FARM, LLC as part of their investigation into an outbreak of nine cases of E. coli O157:H7 illnesses in three states. Three of the victims have been hospitalized; one has developed HUS. The strain found in the raw cheese sample does not match the outbreak strain from the current outbreak, but is a match for a different outbreak that had been investigated by the CDC in 2025, according to the FDA.
