The recalled products were distributed to retailers in Ontario.

Allergy Alert: Numage Québec Inc. recalls Verona Giant Lady Fingers (150g; All codes where milk does not appear on the ingredient list; UPC 0 66624 20087 5) due to undeclared milk. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.

Allergy Alert: Too Corny Gourmet Popcorn recalls Too Corny Salt & Vinegar Flavoured Gourmet Popcorn (25g & 55g; all lots where milk is not declared; UPC 6 86773 00040 1) due to undeclared milk. The recalled product was distributed to consumers in Alberta.

Allergy Alert: Mondelez Canada Inc. recalls Véa World Recipes Seed Cracker Mexican Garden Herbs Flavour (141g; Product code 2018JA27; UPC 0 66721 00769 8) due to undeclared sesame. The recalled product was distributed to retailers nationwide.

Allergy Alert: Campbell Soup Company recalls Wolfgang Puck Creamy Butternut Squash Organic Soup (398 mL; all codes where mustard is not declared; UPC 8 58328 76448 3) due to undeclared mustard. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in British Columbia, Ontario, and possibly nationally.

Food Safety Recall/Outbreak Alert: Sofina Foods Inc. recalls Janes Pub Style Chicken Burgers – Uncooked Breaded Chicken Burgers (800g; Product code 2018 MA 12; UPC 0 69299 12491 0) and Janes Pub Style Snacks Popcorn Chicken – Uncooked Breaded Chicken Cutlettes (800g; Product code 2018 MA 15; UPC 0 69299 12542 9) due to Salmonella contamination. The recalled product was linked to 13 cases of salmonellosis in Ontario (7), Quebec (2), New Brunswick (2), and Nova Scotia (2), and was distributed to retailers nationwide.

Food Safety Recall: Vantage Foods (ON) Inc. recalls Food Basics Mechanically Tenderized Hip Steak (Best Before 2017OC17; UPC starts with 0 211030) and Food Basics Mechanically Tenderized Steak FP (Best before Best Before 2017OC17; UPC starts with 0 224015) due to possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in Ontario.

Dietary Supplement Safety Recall: Natures Supplement, Inc. recalls Vegetable Vigra (all lots in distribution) due to presence of Sildenafil. The recalled product was distributed in Florida to consumers via 3rd party distribution company.

Dietary Supplement Safety Recall: Gadget Island, Inc. Outbreak Alert Update: CDC reports that the number of reported Salmonella infections linked to Maradol Papayas imported from Mexico has risen to 141 illnesses in 19 states. One person has died and 45 have been hospitalized.

Food Safety Recall (UK): Houghton Hams recalls Northamptonshire Cured Ham (140g; Use by 19 August 2018) and Northamptonshire Cured Honey Roast Ham (140g; Use by 19 August 2018) due to an incorrect ‘Use by’ date. The correct ‘Use by’ date is 19 August 2017. The affected products were sold only at Waitrose.
