CANADA: The Canadian Food Inspection Agency reports an unspecified number of illnesses associated with the consumption of Stellar Bay Shellfish brand Farmed Oyster, Kusshi. The implicated products have been recalled due to possible Norovirus contamination.

USA (Final Update): FDA and CDC report that the final tally of illnesses in a Listeria monocytogenes outbreak linked to prepared pasta meals containing pasta from Nate’s Fine Foods, Inc. are as follows: 28 confirmed cases in 19 states, 27 hospitalizations, and 7 deaths. The outbreak investigation is now closed.
