Outbreak/Illness Investigations

DENMARK: The Statens Serum Institue (SSI) reports that the nationwide outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium (sequence type 19) infections has risen to 33 cases. SSI is conducting patient interviews in an effort to determine the source of the outbreak.

VIETNAM: Hue health authorities reported 198 hospital admissions among factory workers with suspected food poisoning, with 20 patients discharged. The health event began on 11 Sep 2026 at a factory in Phong Dien Industrial Park, Hue City, Viet Nam.
