DENMARK (Update): The Statens Serum Institute has recorded 18 cases of Salmonella Enteritidis infections since April 2026. The illnesses are linked to a common school meal scheme at several schools in the Capital Region. The specific source of the outbreak strain remains under investigation.

Pet Food Safety Recall: My Pet Carnivore recalls Coarse Ground Whole Goat (Mfg Mar 9–Apr 3, 2026), Coarse Ground Lamb (Mfg Mar 23–27, 2026) Coarse Ground Whole Mutton (Mfg Mar 16-20, 2026) and Fine Ground Mutton (Mfg Jan 22–27, 2026) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Customers were notified of the recall by email.
