GERMANY: The Robert Koch Institute and its partner agencies has been investigating an outbreak of 40 cases of Salmonella Bochum infections linked to consumption of a nut nougat spread. Thirty of the victims are children or adolescents between 2 and 15 years of age. One person has died.
