Outbreak/Illness Investigations
UK (Update): The UK Health Security Agency reports 211 confirmed cases of E. coli O145 infections as of June 11, 2024. Outbreak cases have been reported in England (147), Wales (27), Scotland (35), and Northern Ireland (2). Epidemiological investigations have narrowed down the likely source of the outbreak to “…a small number of salad leaf products that have been used in sandwiches, wraps, subs and rolls.“
