OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION: The FDA has initiated a traceback in an investigation of eleven cases of E. coli O157:H7 illnesses. The source of the outbreak has not been identified.

Allergy Alert: Braga Fresh recalls 365 by Whole Foods Market Organic Asian Inspired Chopped Salad Kit (12 oz bags; Lot code BFFS179A2; Best if used by 7/16/23; UPC 9948246932) due to undeclared milk and egg.

Food Safety Recall: International Food Companies DBA International Food Products recalls 1st phorm Level-1 Sustained Assimilation Protein, Chocolate Marshmallow Protein Supplement (2.45 lbs (1.11kg); Lot 23087AP8A; UPC 8 50036-64808 6) and 1st phorm Level-1 Sustained Assimilation Protein, Milk Chocolate Protein Supplement (2.45 lbs (1.11kg); Lot 23088AP8A; UPC 8 50026-19672 6) due to possible Staphylococcus aureus contamination.

FDA Warning Letter: FDA warns New Manna Food (Tamuning, Guam) that a February 2023 inspection of the company’s ready-to-eat production facility revealed serious violations of the Seafood Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulation.

Allergy Alert: Restaurant Eatz Encore (Montréal, QC) recalls BŒUF/BEEF BOURGUIGNON (Sold up to 11 July 2023) due to undeclared sulphites, and recalls PÂTÉ AU POULET / Chicken pâté (Sold up to 11 July 2023) due to undeclared soy.

Food Safety Recall: Jardins du Témis (Pohénégamook, QC) recalls Fleur d’ail MARINÉE / Marinated garlic flower (250 ml; Lots 0001 & 0002) due to potential for growth of Clostridium botulinum.

Food Safety Recall: Green Garden recalls Green Garden brand Mint (8 lb; No batch codes; No UPC) due to E. coli contamination.
