OUTBREAK ALERT UPDATE (DENMARK): The Danish Serum Institute, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration and the DTU Food Institute are collaborating to investigate the source of an outbreak of Campylobacter infections, which has affected107 people living on Bornholm or who have recently visited the island. The outbreak now appears to be over, and may have been linked to consumption of milk from a local dairy.

OUTBREAK ALERT (DENMARK): Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, DTU The Danish Food Institute and the National Serum Institute are investigating a Campylobacter outbreak on the island of Bornholm. Fifty-four people aged 9 months to 97 years have tested positive so far. Authorities suspect a locally produced ready-to-eat food may be behind the outbreak, but have not yet identified the source.
