Canada

Food Safety Recall: Marché Mokolo recalls Maquereau entier fumé / Whole smoked mackerel (All product sold up to and including 3 June 2020) due to production and/or packaging that presents a food safety risk.

Europe

OUTBREAK ALERT (DENMARK): Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, DTU The Danish Food Institute and the National Serum Institute are investigating a Campylobacter outbreak on the island of Bornholm. Fifty-four people aged 9 months to 97 years have tested positive so far. Authorities suspect a locally produced ready-to-eat food may be behind the outbreak, but have not yet identified the source.

Allergy Alert Update (Belgium): Bloc recalls Winny brand Pâte à tartiner aux noisettes / hazelnut spread (400g; Lots L920450, L920451, L920452, L920453; Best before end 09/2020) due to undeclared almonds and cashew nuts.

Allergy Alert (Belgium): Albert Heijn recalls Kwekkeboom (NewForrest) brand Kwekkeboom Oven & Airfryer Old Amsterdam bitterballen / small cheese balls (250g / 10 pieces; Lot Mai 2021, 21 (week), 05 (day), 21:57 to 23:05 (time); Best before Mai 2021); due to undeclared celery, eggs and sulphites.

Allergy Alert (Belgium): FrieslandCampina recalls Fristi brand Yaourt maigre à boire aux fruits rouges / drinkable yoghurt with red fruit (6 x 200ml; Lots L0115 & L0121; Best before 19/01/21 and 25/01/21) due to lack of milk declaration on French label.

Allergy Alert (Denmark): KFT Trading ApS recalls reje snack og satay seasoning mix / shrimp snack and satay seasoning mix due to risk of allergy reaction as a resuilt of labeling errors. Please refer to the recall notice for details on the affected products.

Allergy Alert (Germany): TRIBALLAT NOYAL recalls SOJADE brand Hanfdessert Schokolade/ hemp chocolate dessert (Best before 10. July 2020) due to undeclared milk.

Allergy Alert (Ireland): JLM Foods and JLM Family Butchers recalls all meat products and meat preparations (All batch codes and date codes) due to undeclared celery and cereals containing gluten. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products.

Food Safety Recall (Luxembourg): Delhaize recalls Delhaize brand FUET IBERICO (90g; Best before 04/07/2020 & 06/07/2020) due to risk of Salmonella contamination.

Food Safety Recall (Luxembourg): Industry recalls Seapro brand Darnes de vivaneau (Lutjanus bohar) / Snapper steaks (Lot #85205-2217) due to presence of ciguatera toxin.

Food Safety Recall (UK): Sainsbury’s recalls Plant Pioneers Vegan Shroomballs (240g; All ‘Use by’ dates between 3 and 6 June 2020) due to foreign matter (small pieces of plastic) contamination.

Australia and New Zealand
