United States
OUTBREAK ALERT: CDC reports a deadly multistate outbreak of Salmonella Dublin infections linked to ground beef. Ten people from six states have been infected with the outbreak strain. Eight of the ten outbreak victims were hospitalized, and there has been one death. Outbreak cases have been reported by California (2), Colorado (3), Iowa (1), Kansas (2), Oklahoma (1) and Texas (1). CDC is not recommending that consumers avoid ground beef, but is reminding the public to ground beef to an internal temperature of 160°F. A single, common supplier of the ground beef has not been identified, and no recalls have been announced.
Food Safety Recall: Nestlé USA recalls ready-to-bake refrigerated Nestlé Toll House Cookie Dough products due to potential foreign matter (food-grade rubber pieces) contamination. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products.
Food Safety Recall Update): King Arthur Flour, Inc. recalls three additional product lot codes of Unbleached All-Purpose Flour (5 lb.; Lot codes L18A09A, L18A09C & A19A08A; Best if used by 12/09/19 and 01/08/20) due to E. coli O26 contamination.

Food Safety Recall: Cuisine La Joue Verte recalls VÉGÉ PÂTÉ AUX LÉGUMES D’AUTOMNE/HIVER / Vegetarian fall/winter vegetable pâté (200g; All product bearing packaging date of 30 October 2019 or earlier) due to lack of labeling to indicate the product must be refrigerated.

Allergy Alert (Netherlands): Jumbo recalls Shakshuka (1300g; Best before 7-11-2019) due to undeclared parsley and celery.
