Allergy Alert: Stewart’s Shops Corp. recalls Stewart’s pint Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup ice cream (16-oz container; Sell by 08/23/18; UPC 0 82086 44468 8) due to undeclared peanuts. The recalled ice cream containers may have been packaged with a ‘Chocolate’ lid by error.
Allergy Alert: Cookwell & Company recalls Four J Charred Tomato & Basil Sauce (24-oz glass jars; Best by 10 NOV 18) due to undeclared soy, wheat and fish.
Food Safety Recall: Conagra Brands, Inc. recalls Banquet FAMILY SIZE 6 SALISBURY STEAKS & BROWN GRAVY MADE WITH CHICKEN, PORK AND BEEF – GRILL MARKS ADDED (27-oz. carton; Lot #5006 8069 10 05; Best by SEP 01 2019) due to possible foreign matter (bone) contamination. The recalled product was shipped to retail locations nationwide.
Food Safety Recall: Whole Foods Market recalls Explorateur French Triple Crème cheese (Various packaging; Sell by 02/15/2018 through 04/03/2018) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recalled product was sold in nine Whole Foods stores in New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Illinois, Connecticut and New Jersey. Allergy Alert: Trust Express Inc. recalls Kamy brand Salad Dressing due to undeclared milk and wheat. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were distributed to retailers in British Columbia and Ontario, and may have been sold nationwide.
Allergy Alert: Legend Q Trading Inc. recalls Liao Bu De brand Fish and Shrimp Dumplings (230g; All lots; UPC 6 953640 000623) due to undeclared egg. The recalled product was sold through retailers in Ontario.
Food Safety Recall (Update): R.T. Fresh Prepared Foods Inc. recalls various Culinary Creations Gourmet* and Denny’s Express sandwiches due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were sold through retailers and automatic vending machines in Ontario.
Food Safety Recall: Metro Ontario Inc. recalls Fresh 2 Go(F2GO) Roast Beef Paninis (2-packs and 4-packs; All units sold up to and including April 10, 2018) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recalled products were sold from Metro locations in Ontario.
Food Safety Recall (Update): Erie Meat Products Ltd. recalls Deli Classic brand Seasoned Cooked Roast Beef Round (Variable sizes; Best before 2018AL10 and 2018AL17) due to Listeria monocytogenes contamination. This recall was triggered by findings by the CFIA during its investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak. The recalled product was sold in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador, and may have been distributed to other provinces or territories. This product may have been portioned and sold without a label, coding or under a different brand. Consumers who are unsure if they have purchased the affected product are advised to contact their retailer.
