United States

Allergy Alert: Earthbound Farm LLC (San Juan Bautista, CA) recalls Earthbound Farm Organic Chopped Asian Style Salad Kit (Expiry date October 24, 2017; UPC 32601 95134) due to undeclared milk and egg. The recalled product was distributed through retail stores in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Allergy Alert: Giant Eagle recalls Giant Eagle brand Breaded Shrimp (prepared and sold from the Prepared Foods grab and go sections inside Giant Eagle and Market District supermarkets through October 19, 2017) due to undeclared egg.

Allergy Alert: Tres Latin Foods recalls certain pupusas due to undeclared milk. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products.

Public Health Alert: FSIS issues a public health alert due to concerns that certain poultry products produced by Mary’s Harvest Fresh Foods, Inc. (Portland, OR) establishment, may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. A recall was not requested, as all of the products are past their ‘Best by’ dates, and it is believed that none of the affected products remain in commerce. Please refer to the FSIS notice for additional details of affected products, which were shipped to retail locations in Oregon and Washington.

Food Safety Recall: H-E-B recalls certain H-E-B single-serving soups made with vegetable products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were sold in H-E-B stores.

Food Safety Recall: Triple B Corporation (Seattle, WA) recalls several salad kits and stir fry mixes due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were distributed in the states of Oregon and Washington through retail store delis, hospitals, schools and hotels.

Food Safety Recall: Triple B Corporation (Anchorage, Alaska) recalls broccoli florette’s, stir fry kit, veggie trays w/ cauliflower, and a veggie pack combo, due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were distributed in state of Alaska through retail store delis.

Food Safety Recall (Update): Albertsons, Safeway, Vons and Pak N’ Save stores in eight states revise their earlier recall of products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Please refer to the updated recall notice for a complete list of affected products.

Food Safety Recall: Randalls, Tom Thumb and Albertsons stores in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas recall Ready.Chef.Go!Cod Filet seafood meal bag (Sell by dates up to and including 10-22-17; UPC beginning with 231201) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Food Safety Recall: Cooperstown Cheese Company recalls Toma Celena Cheese (Batch #51017 & 52417), Roasted Garlic Cheddar Cheese (Batch #52417 & 60717) and Roasted Garlic Peppercorn Cheese (Batch #52417), due to a presumptive positive test result for Listeria.

Food Safety Recall (Update): Relish Foods, Inc. (Culver City, CA) expands its earlier recall of frozen tuna loins to include: 3 to 5 lb. tuna loins, 6 oz. tuna steaks, and 4 oz. tuna steaks, due to Salmonella contamination. Please refer to the recall notice for additional details on product codes and distribution of the recalled products.

Food Safety Recall: Paragon Wholesale Foods Corp. (Warrendale, PA) recalls Broccoli Florets (1.7 oz; Best by date of 10/16/17 or 10/23/2017) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recalled product was distributed to multiple schools in the Greater Pittsburgh and Butler, PA areas between 10/9/2017 and 10/16/2017.

Food Safety Recall: Pacific Coast Fruit Company (Portland, OR) recalls multiple types of bagged processed salads due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were distributed to selected grocery, restaurant and deli chains in Oregon and Washington.

Food Safety Recall: King Soopers and City Market recall various deli broccoli salads and coleslaw products due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Please refer to the recall notice for a detailed list of affected products, which were sold from the service case in the deli department at King Soopers and City Market in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming.

Food Safety Recall: Trader Joe’s recalls Trader Joe’s Kohlrabi Salad Blend (Best before OCT 14 2017, OCT 15 2017 and OCT 16 2017) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recalled product was sold in Trader Joe’s stores nationwide.

Canada

Allergy Alert: Boulangerie L’Épi doré (Montreal, QC) recalls various baked goods and sandwiches due to undeclared sesame seeds, almonds, nuts, wheat, soy, egg, pecans and milk. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products.

Allergy Alert: Metro Richelieu inc. recalls various salads due to undeclared sesame seeds, mustard seeds, wheat, milk, gluten, soy, egg, peanuts, shellfish and sulfits. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products.

Allergy Alert (Denmark): Danton Trading A / S recalls four bread varieties due to undeclared nuts. Please refer to the recall notice for complete product details.

Allergy Alert (Denmark): Jensens Foods A / S recalls Mørbradgryde (400g; Best before 09.11.2017) due to undeclared soy.

Allergy Alert (Ireland): Manufacturer recalls Snacking Essentials Fruit and Nut (150g; Best before End March 2018; Batch #17157L2) due to undeclared Brazil nuts. The recalled product was sold in Mr Price Branded Bargains stores.

Allergy Alert (Sweden): SIA Glass AB recalls Kladdkaka due to undeclared egg.

Food Safety Recall (France): Blédina recalls Blédina brand ‘pour Bébé’ apple/mango (4 x 130g jars; Lot 2019.02.19; Best before 19/02/2019) due to a processing problem that may have rendered the products unsafe for consumption.

Allergy Alert (Israel): Hecht Products Ltd. informs its customers that Pnina Rosenblum Gluten-free Salty Sticks and Pnina Rosenblum Gluten-free Oriental Cookies may contain undeclared sesame seeds.
