United States

Allergy Alert: JFC International Inc. recalls Futaba Sesame Hijiki Rice Seasoning (2.29 oz; all lots; UPC 4 902533 023173) due to missing English-language label and undeclared Wheat, Soybean, and Fish (Bonito). The recalled product was distributed between 06/19/16 and 06/19/17 to retail stores and other foodservice operators in the states of AZ, CA, CO, CT, MA, MD, NC, NV, NY, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WV.

Allergy Alert (Update): Embutidos Fanguito, Inc. recalls Embutidos El Fanguito Chorizo (2 oz pkg; sell by date of Sept. 17, 2017) due to mislabeling and undeclared soy and monosodium glutamate.

Allergy Alert: United Natural Foods, Incorporated recalls Fat Cat Purry-Purry Sauce Hot Sauce (5-oz glass bottle; Lot FCPPMAY092019) due to undeclared peanuts. The recalled product was supplied to Winn-Dixie Supermarkets, BI-LO Supermarkets and Harvey’s Supermarkets in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Louisiana.

Allergy Alert (Expansion): Channel Fish Processing Co., Inc. recalls approximately 1,190 pounds of breaded Swai products due to undeclared milk. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were shipped to institutional locations in Indiana.

Allergy Alert: Northern Food I/E Inc. recalls RA’s Farm dried apricots (12 oz pkgs; UPC 754351-144424) due to undeclared sulfites. The recalled product was distributed in New York State.

Food Safety Recall: United Natural Trading LLC recalls a limited number of products containing Organic and Natural dates sold under the Nature’s Promise, Woodstock, Market Basket, and Wholesome Pantry brands due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were shipped to retailers and distributors throughout the United States.

Food Safety Recall: House of Thaller recalls selected 10 ounce packages of Fresh Foods Market, Lantana, and Marketside brands of Hummus with Pine Nut Topping due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were distributed nationwide through various grocery retailers from April 18, 2017 to June 13, 2017, and in Canada on April 20, 2017.

Canada

Food Safety Recall: BakeMark Canada Calgary recalls BakeMark brand White Cross Topping Mix (4.54 kg; Product codes 4-16-326-01 and 4-16-326-02; UPC 0 64278 50623 7) due to possible E. coli O121 contamination. The recalled product was supplied to hotel, restaurant and institutional customers in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.

Food Safety Recall: Newly Weds Foods Co. recalls various brands of coating mixes due to possible E. coli O121 contamination. Please refer to the recall notice for a detailed list of affected products, which were supplied to hotel, restaurant and institutional customers in British Columbia and Manitoba.

Food Safety Recall: Snowcap Enterprises Ltd. recalls Snowcap brand Baking Mixes due to possible E. coli O121 contamination. Please refer to the recall notice for a detailed list of affected products, which wre supplied to hotel, restaurant and institutional customers in British Columbia and Ontario.

Europe

Allergy Alert (Denmark): Coop Danmark recalls Broccoli salad with a touch of chili (250g; Use by dates 20/6-2017 – 21/6-2017 and 22/6-2017) due to undeclared egg and mustard.

Food Safety Recall (Luxembourg): Terravital recalls Céréal brand Choco Puur /Noir Spread (220g jar; Lot #07.11.2017; Best by 07.11.2017) due to possible mold contamination.

Food Safety Recall (Sweden): JM Clark recalls Varmrökt Bog/Hot-smoked Shoulder (Best before 29.06.2017) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
