Outbreak/Illness Investigations
USA (California): The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is investigating a cluster of Brucella melitensis cases (undulant fever) associated with consumption of raw (unpasteurized) milk cheese imported from Mexico.
USA (Update): The Minnesota Department of Health has identified two more Minnesota cases of Salmonella illnesses linked to Moringa Leaf Powder. The two newly identified outbreak victims consumed tnvitamins brand moringa capsules (Lot 2793; Expiration date February 2028) purchased from Amazon. Neither patient was hospitalized and both have recovered.

Food Safety Recall: SKS Copack recalls various specialty beverages sold under the Angel Specialty Products, Royal Gold, Boba Time, FANALE, and DENDA brand names due to potential for Salmonella contamination.
Food Safety Recall: Honeyville, Inc recalls SPL-BEV Banana CWT (Banana Smoothie) (Lot #0325357B201) due to potential for Salmonella contamination.
Pet Food Safety Recall: Montgomery Meats (Ladoga, IN) recalls eight raw pet food products sold under the My Pet Carnivore and The Butcher’s Hound brand names due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
