United Kingdom: The UK Health Security Agency and Food Standards Agency are investigating an outbreak of 5 cases of Listeria monocytogenes illnesses. Three people have died, including one where Listeria monocytogenes was reported as the cause of death.

USA: FDA is investigating a new outbreak of three cases of Listeria monocytogenes linked to a not-yet-identified food product. Traceback and sampling have been initiated.

Allergy Alert: U.S. Trading Company recalls Joy Luck Brand Dried Lily Flowers (2.5 oz; UPC 721557511008) due to undeclared sulphites.

Food Safety Recall: AKT Trading Inc. recalls certain prepared vegetable products manufactured by Choshiya Honten Co., Ltd. due to a potential risk of Clostridium botulinum.

Food Safety Alert: New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets warns the public not to consume raw (unpasteurized) milk from Charles B. Curtiss dba Willow Marsh Farm due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The producer is now prohibited from selling raw milk until subsequent sampling indicates that the product is free of harmful bacteria.
