Outbreak/Illness Investigations
USA: CDC, FDA, and USDA are investigating an outbreak of 10 cases of Listeria monocytogenes infections from December 2023 through September 2024. The cases are linked to ready-to-eat sandwiches and protein snacks produced by Fresh & Ready Foods, LLC.
United States
Allergy Alert: Knockro Inc. recalls Bonya-branded yogurt parfait products (12-oz cups; Expiration date May 5th, 2025) due to undeclared almonds.
Food Safety Recall: Fresh & Ready Foods LLC recalls 86 ready-to-eat sandwiches and snack items (Use By dates from 4/22/2025 to 05/19/2025) due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recalled products were distributed between 04/18/2025 and 04/28/2025 in vending and breakroom areas within corporate offices, medical buildings and healthcare facilities located in Arizona, California, Nevada and Washington.
Food Safety Recall: First Quality Produce recalls Cucumber slices, cucumber spears, and diced cucumber (Multiple batch codes) due to potential Salmonella contamination.
