OUTBREAK ALERT / FOOD SAFETY ALERT (Denmark): The Danish Veterinary and Food Adminstration has ordered a production halt at Tyrkeren Odder after three confirmed cases of listeriosis were associated with consumption of hummus from this company. Consumers are urged to discard hummus, dates, olives in oil, and other products from this company.

FOOD SAFETY ALERT (UK): FSA is issuing precautionary egg safety and handling advice to consumers in relation to a limited number of British Lion Eggs with flock code 1UK11871 and three Best Before dates because a very small number of these eggs may be contaminated with Salmonella.
