Food Safety Alert (Hong Kong): The Centre for Food Safety has ordered the trade to suspend importing and selling raw oysters harvested in Carlingford Lough (LH-CL-BN) in Ireland after the oysters were linked to two clusters of food poisoning that involved consumption of raw oysters from this location served by two restaurants.

OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION (Australia): The Western Australia Department of Health is investigating an outbreak of 19 cases of diarrheal illness due to Salmonella Typhimurium. The outbreak is linked to consumption of Qukes® brand baby cucumbers. The Department of Health advises people not to consume Qukes® purchased in December 2022 until more information becomes available.
