OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION UPDATE: CDC reports 36 cases of Salmonella Typhimurium and Salmonella Infantis infections in 17 states have been linked to consumption of Fratelli Beretta brand prepackaged Uncured Antipasto trays. Please refer to the recall notice, below, for additional information on the implicated products.

PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT: FDA advises the public to avoid purchasing or consuming Felix Custom Smoking branded products due to potential for Listeria monocytogenes contamination. FDA has recovered Listeria monocytogenes from environmental samples collected from food contact surfaces as part of an inspection of the production facility. The company has declined to initiate a recall of its products. Please refer to the FDA’s Public Health Alert for a complete list of affected products.

Food Safety Recall: Fratelli Beretta USA, Inc. recalls Fratelli Beretta UNCURED ANTIPASTO PROSCIUTTO, SOPPRESSATA, MILANO SALAMI & COPPA (2 x 12-oz pkgs / tray; Best by AUG 27 21 through FEB 11 22; UPC 073541305316; USDA Est.
