Food Safety Recall: LSG Sky Chefs recalls Circle K brand Chicken Salad Sandwiches (5.9 oz; Best by 6/7/21 through 7/9/21; UPC 815138013996) due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The sandwiches contain chicken that was recalled by Tyson Foods.

Food Safety Recall Update: Tyson Foods Inc recalls approximately 8,955,296 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes. OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION UPDATE: In response to a refusal on the part of Real Water, Inc. to make its records available to FDA during the agency’s investigation into an outbreak of 5 cases of non-viral hepatitis in southern Nevada, the FDA has issued a formal ‘Demand for Records’ under section 414 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The cases of non-viral hepatitis have been linked to consumption of “Real Water” brand Alkaline Water, manufactured by Real Water, Inc. and distributed in the greater Las Vegas, NV area, central California coastal region (North of Los Angeles, CA, and South from Santa Barbara, CA), and Phoenix, AZ.
