The CDC, the FDA and their state and local partners are investigating an outbreak of Salmonella Senftenberg illnesses linked to Jif peanut butter products.
The JM Smucker Co. has recalled multiple Jif products, including lot codes between 1274425 and 2140425 (limited to lot codes with the first seven digits ending in 425).
Recalled products were distributed in the United States, Canada, Dominican Republic, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand, Honduras, Spain, and Japan.
Additional recalls have been announced by companies that used Jif peanut butter as an ingredient in other products.
