Public Health Alert: FSIS issues Public Health Alert for LEAN apco BRAND MEATS ALL NATURAL PREMIUM CHORIZO (12 oz; Best by 5/12/24; EST. 602) due to possible foreign matter contamination (hard plastic and metal).
Public Health Alert (Pennsylvania): Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture warns the public to discard raw milk sold from Apple Valley Creamery, under the Pure Pastures Dairy label, with sell-by dates of April 3, 2024 through May 2, 2024, due to Campylobacter contamination. One illness has been reported.

OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION UPDATE (Denmark): The Statens Serum Institut now reports 48 cases of Salmonella Typhimurium (sequence type 19) illnesses confirmed in various parts of the country. The source of the outbreak remains under investigation.
