FDA Warning Letter: FDA warns Black Sheep Egg Company, LLC that an inspection of the company’s offline shell egg processing facility in Walnut Ridge, AR revealed the presence of Salmonella in environmental samples and serious violations of the Prevention of Salmonella Enteritidis in Shell Eggs During Production, Storage, and Transportation regulation.

FDA Warning Letter: FDA warns The Father’s Table, LLC that an inspection of the company’s food manufacturing facility in Sanford, FL found serious violations of the Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventative Controls for Human Food regulation. In addition, FDA lab analysis of environmental swabs collected during the inspection found Listeria monocytogenes.

FDA Warning Letter: FDA warns John Yoder Farm that a July 2025 inspection of the company’s shell egg farm in Monte Vista, CO revealed serious violations of the Prevention of Salmonella Enteritidis in Shell Eggs During Production, Storage, and Transportation regulation.

Allergy Alert: Super Marché Primeau et Fils inc. (IGA Extra) (Saint-Rémi, QC) recalls Poulet cacciatore / Chicken cacciatore (All lots) due to undeclared soy.

Food Safety Recall: Les produits Cajù inc. (Sainte-Monique, QC) recalls CAJÙ STYLE CAMEMBERT and CAJÙ STYLE CAMEMBERT À L’AIL NOIR (120g; Lot #260414; UPC 9 90312 50555 6 and 9 90312 50557 0, respectively) due to non-pathogenic E. coli contamination.

INDIA: India reports a waterborne diarrhea outbreak in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh that has caused 75-90 hospitalizations and two deaths. Two patients remain in critical condition. Preliminary investigations indicate that recent road expansion work may have damaged municipal pipelines, allowing drainage water to enter the drinking water supply.
