USA (Update): CDC reports that the Salmonella Telekebir outbreak linked to raw oysters is now over. Twenty-three states reported a total of 80 confirmed outbreak cases, and 34 of the victims were hospitalized. There were no deaths. No single common source of oysters was able to be determined from the available information.

Pet Treat Safety Recall: Elite Treats, LLC recalls Elite Treats Chicken Chips for Dogs (6 oz bag; Lot #24045; Expiration date 04/2027) due to possible Salmonella contamination. The recalled dog treats were sold to Florida Hardware, LLC which sold to feed stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

USA (Update): The FDA reports that Rosabella-brand moringa powder capsules recalled in conjunction with an outbreak investigation of 7 cases of extensively-drug resistant Salmonella illnesses was sold both across the USA and in multiple countries around the world.

Food Safety Recall: Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. recalls approximately 3,370,530 pounds of frozen not ready-to-eat (NRTE) chicken fried rice products (Produced between September 8 and November 17, 2025) due to possible foreign matter contamination (glass).

Food Safety Recall: Sobico USA LLC recalls approximately 13,464 pounds of frozen, raw intact Siluriformes fish products that were imported from Vietnam without the benefit of import reinspection into the United States

(Expiration dates in 2027). Three people have been hospitalized. The product is distributed by Ambrosia Brands LLC.
