Outbreak/Illness Investigations
CANADA (Update): The Public Health Agency of Canada has confirmed 88 cases of Salmonella in an outbreak linked to consumption of various brands of salami and cacciatore products manufactured by Marini Foods Limited. Nine people have been hospitalized.
USA (Dogs): The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is currently investigating reports of an unexplained sudden-onset illness affecting multiple dogs in the Venice Canals area.
