Allergy Alert: Quality International Foods Ltd. recalls Aman’s Masar Whole Crimson Lentil (2 lb; Product code IVMKPA; UPC 6 70999 00042 0) and Aman’s Masar Whole Crimson Lentil (4 lb; Product code PAMKPA; UPC 6 70999 00006 2) due to undeclared wheat. The recalled products were distributed to retailers in Ontario.

Allergy Alert: Numage Québec Inc. recalls Verona Giant Lady Fingers (150g; All codes where milk does not appear on the ingredient list; UPC 0 66624 20087 5) due to undeclared milk. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.

Allergy Alert: Too Corny Gourmet Popcorn recalls Too Corny Salt & Vinegar Flavoured Gourmet Popcorn (25g & 55g; all lots where milk is not declared; UPC 6 86773 00040 1) due to undeclared milk. The recalled product was distributed to consumers in Alberta.

Allergy Alert: Mondelez Canada Inc. recalls Véa World Recipes Seed Cracker Mexican Garden Herbs Flavour (141g; Product code 2018JA27; UPC 0 66721 00769 8) due to undeclared sesame. The recalled product was distributed to retailers nationwide.

Allergy Alert: Campbell Soup Company recalls Wolfgang Puck Creamy Butternut Squash Organic Soup (398 mL; all codes where mustard is not declared; UPC 8 58328 76448 3) due to undeclared mustard. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in British Columbia, Ontario, and possibly nationally.

Food Safety Recall/Outbreak Alert: Sofina Foods Inc. recalls Janes Pub Style Chicken Burgers – Uncooked Breaded Chicken Burgers (800g; Product code 2018 MA 12; UPC 0 69299 12491 0) and Janes Pub Style Snacks Popcorn Chicken – Uncooked Breaded Chicken Cutlettes (800g; Product code 2018 MA 15; UPC 0 69299 12542 9) due to Salmonella contamination. The recalled product was linked to 13 cases of salmonellosis in Ontario (7), Quebec (2), New Brunswick (2), and Nova Scotia (2), and was distributed to retailers nationwide.

Food Safety Recall: Vantage Foods (ON) Inc. recalls Food Basics Mechanically Tenderized Hip Steak (Best Before 2017OC17; UPC starts with 0 211030) and Food Basics Mechanically Tenderized Steak FP (Best before Best Before 2017OC17; UPC starts with 0 224015) due to possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in Ontario.

Food Safety Recall: Spécialité Slovenia, boucherie et charcuterie recalls Hungarian Sausage, Chabai Sausage and Chorizo Sausage (sold September 20-27, 2017) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Food Safety Recall: Corporation d’Aliments Catelli (Ronzoni Foods) recalls Catelli brand Fusilli Gluten Free (340g; Best Before 2019 MA 08 128M751; UPC 0 6420016002 5) due to extraneous material contamination. Food Safety Recall: Laiterie Chagnon Ltee. recalls Chagnon brand Cultured Butter de la Haute-Yamaska Salted (3kg and 225g; Product code 265170407; UPC (225g) 6360200521) and Cultured Butter de la Haute-Yamaska Unsalted (3kg and 225g; Product code 242170395; UPC (225g) 6360200531) due to generic E. coli contamination. The recalled products were distributed to hotels, restaurants, institutions and retailers in Quebec.

Food Safety Recall: Sultan of Samosas Inc. recalls various samosas (8kg; All codes produced between August 21, 2017 and August 31, 2017) due to contamination with pieces of metal. Food Safety Recall: Horizon Distributors Ltd. recalls Pacific brand Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup (1 L; Product code 01AU18; UPC 0 52603 05404 1) due to potential presence of Clostridium botulinum. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in British Columbia.

Food Safety Recall: Yummy Market Inc. recalls Yummy Market Smoked Lake Trout w/Pepper with Cracked Black Pepper (Best Before 2017 OCT 25 and 2017 NOV 01) because it may permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum.

Food Safety Recall: Industry is recalling certain farm-raised Pacific Oysters due to the presence of the marine biotoxin that causes Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning. The recalled product was distributed initially to CA, CT, FL, IA, IL, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC,NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, VA, and WI, and is sold at natural food stores and grocery retailers nationwide.

Allergy Alert: GB Green Gastronome, LLC (Jamaica, NY) recalls approximately 8,000 pounds of chicken and pork products due to undeclared coconut and coconut cream. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were shipped to wholesale and retail locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Allergy Alert: Chun Yuen Trading Co. (South El Monte, CA) recalls Instant 4-in-1 Reishi Coffee (12.7 ounce golden aluminum packaging pouch; all packages that do not mention milk in the list of ingredients) due to undeclared milk.

Allergy Alert: Belmont Sausage Co (Elk Grove Village, IL) recalls smoked turkey products due to undeclared milk. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were shipped to an institutional location in Michigan that further distributed nationwide.

Allergy Alert: Hong Lee Trading Inc. (NY) recalls VINA CAFÉ WAKE-UP INSTANT COFFEE MIX (0.6 ounce plastic package; EXP: 17.MAR.2019 1T13) due to undeclared milk. The recalled product was distributed throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Allergy Alert: Dean Dairy recalls Tampico® Tropical Punch (gallon size; Best by 12-27-17; Plant code 1738; UPC 095188031281) due to undeclared milk. The recalled product was sold in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

Allergy Alert: TAI FOONG USA (Seattle, WA) recalls Royal Asia Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup (3.94lb (1.79kg) 63oz; 6 bowl pack; sold beginning January 2017), due to undeclared egg. The recalled product was available exclusively at Costco in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Utah and Alaska.

Allergy Alert: Select Whole Foods Market stores in Arizona, California and Nevada recall Apple Cinnamon Hand Pies (Best by October 15, 2017 and earlier) due to undeclared egg. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of stores affected by this recall.

Allergy Alert: Aunt Beth’s Cookies (Mishawaka, IN) recalls Amish Sugar, Chocolate Chip N Chunk, Frosted Brownie, Frosted Sugar, M&M Candy, Mudslide Triple Chocolate, Oatmeal Raisin, Red Velvet, and Snickerdoodle cookies (All sizes; sold between January 1, 2017 and September 28, 2017) due to undeclared peanuts and/or tree nuts. The recalled cookies were distributed through one wholesaler in Indiana and one wholesaler in Illinois.

Allergy Alert: A.S.K. Foods, Inc. (Palmyra, PA) recalls Taste of Inspirations Classic Red Skin Potato Salad (16 oz.; Sell by 10-20-17; UPC 25439 98422) due to undeclared egg. The recalled product was distributed and sold at Hannaford Supermarkets in ME, NY, MA, NH and VT.

Allergy Alert: Sid Wainer & Son® (New Bedford, MA) recalls Jansal Valley® brand Dried Chili De Arbol Peppers (1-oz clear plastic clamshell container; Best by 9/11/2018, 9/22/2018 and 9/26/2018) due to undeclared peanuts. The recalled product was distributed nationwide in retail stores and grocery chains.

Allergy Alert: H-E-B Meat Plant (San Antonio, TX) recalls MI TIENDA PARA TACOS DE POLLO CASERO SEASONED DICED SKINLESS CHICKEN THIGHS (1.75 lb pkg; Freeze by or sell by Oct. 12, 2017) due to undeclared wheat. The recalled product was shipped to retail locations in Texas.

Allergy Alert: Sandridge RMH Acquisition, LLC (Morton, IL) recalls Publix homestyle beef pot roast WITH SEASONED GRAVY (15 oz. plastic trays; Lot code 72487338; use or freeze by December 4, 2017) due to undeclared wheat and soybean oil. The recalled product was shipped to retail locations in Florida and Georgia.

Allergy Alert: Great American Deli (Ooltewah, TN) recalls 816 Premium Chicken Salad Wheatberry Sandwich (6.4 oz pkg; Lot #17 198) due to undeclared egg and soy. The recalled product was distributed in Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia to convenience stores and vending machines.

Allergy Alert: Whole Foods Market recalls 365 Everyday Value Organic Raisin Bran (15 oz. boxes; best-by June 4, 2018; UPC 9948243903) due to undeclared peanuts. The recalled product was sold in Whole Foods Market stores in the U.S. and online at Amazon.com.

Allergy Alert: General Mills recalls Cascadian Farm Organic Cinnamon Raisin Granola cereal (Best if used by/plant code: 20MAR2018JK and 21MAR2018JK) due to undeclared almonds.

Allergy Alert: Kenny’s Great Pies, Inc. (Smyrna, GA) recalls Kenny’s Buckeye Pie (22 oz; UPC 7 11276 50277 7) due to undeclared wheat. The recalled product was distributed in retail stores in the Ohio area.

Allergy Alert: La Terra Fina recalls Spinach Artichoke & Parmesan Dip & Spread (10 oz.; BEST BY NOV-01-2017) due to undeclared egg. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Food Safety Recall: Greencore, USA, LLC recalls egg salad sandwiches, ham salad sandwiches, and seafood stuffing products because Listeria monocytogenes was found during environmental sampling and finished product testing carried out by FDA. Food Safety Recall: Prestage Foods, Inc. (St. Pauls, N.C.) recalls approximately 38,475 pounds of ground turkey that may contain extraneous material. Food Safety Recall: Clair D. Thompson & Sons, Inc. (Jersey Shore, PA) recalls Thompson’s GROUND BEEF (5-lb and 10-lb plastic bags; produced and packaged Sept. 27 – 28, 2017 and Oct. 2, 2017) due to possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. The recalled products were shipped to institutions in New York and Pennsylvania.

Food Safety Recall: J & B Sausage Company, Inc. (d.b.a. J Bar B Foods) recalls H-E-B Fully Cooked Smoked Seasoned Shredded Beef with BBQ sauce (16-oz and 28-oz trays; Use by Dec. 15 2017) due to possible contamination with pieces of plastic. The recalled products were shipped to retail locations in Texas.

Food Safety Recall: Bel Brands USA, Inc. recalls Port Wine flavor of Merkts Cheese Spread (14-oz; Best before April 29, 2018; Plant code LC2442A; UPC 76306 60200) due to possible contamination with small pieces of plastic. The recalled product was sold by retailers nationwide.

Food Safety Recall: Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. (Kenosha, WI) recalls Meat and Bean Soup in Tomato Base (24-lb boxes; Lot code 354191-2767) and Santa Fe Style Turkey and White Chicken Chili with Beans (24-lb boxes; Lot code 354464-2767) due to possible contamination with pieces of plastic. The recalled products were sold to retail stores to be prepared for sale to consumers in the soup bar area.

Food Safety Recall: Battistoni Italian Specialty Meats, LLC (Buffalo, NY) recalls approximately 22,630 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) Genoa Salami and Capocollo products that may be contaminated with a foreign material (aluminum clip). Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products, which were shipped to foodservice establishments in Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Food Safety Recall: Organic Spices, Inc. dba Spicely Organics (Fremont, CA) recalls Organic Tarragon (0.4 oz; Lot No. OTW100134) due to Salmonella contamination. The recalled product was distributed in: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. It reached customers through retails stores and e-commerce.

Food Safety Recall/Outbreak Alert: Vermont Livestock Slaughter and Processing, LLC (Ferrisburg, VT) recalls Bread & Butter Farm Ground Beef (1-lb vacuum-sealed pkg; Lot codes #072517BNB and #072417BNB) due to E. coli O157:H7 contamination. The recalled product has been implicated in two cases of E. coli O157:H7 illness.

Allergy Alert: First Source recalls Tasty Treats Nonpareils Milk Chocolate (5-oz plastic pouch; distributed between 12/20/2016 and 9/20/2017; UPC 7 97299 00476 4) due to undeclared milk.

Allergy Alert: Detjen’s Northern Trails (Watertown, WI) recalls Teri-Yaki Marinated Boneless Chicken Breasts (Lot # 8973; sold prior to September 22, 2017) and Teri-Yaki Marinated Whole Chickens (Lot # 8880 and 9422; sold prior to September 22, 2017) due to undeclared soy.

Food Safety Recall: Death Wish Coffee Co. recalls Death Wish Nitro Cold Brew cans (11-oz cans; all lots) because the current process could lead to the growth and production of the deadly toxin, botulin, in low acid foods commercialized in reduced oxygen packaging.

Food Safety Alert: Martin Yoder Farms (Medina, NY) suspends sale of unpasteurized (raw) milk due to possible Campylobacter jejuni contamination.

Dietary Supplement Safety Recall: Natures Supplement, Inc. recalls Vegetable Vigra (all lots in distribution) due to presence of Sildenafil. The recalled product was distributed in Florida to consumers via 3rd party distribution company.

Dietary Supplement Safety Recall: Gadget Island, Inc. Dba Gear Isle recalls Rhino 7 Platinum 5000 capsules (LOT# R7-D5K1011H), Papa Zen 3300 capsules (LOT# NSS050888), Fifty Shades 6000 capsules (all Lots), and Grande X 5800 capsules (all Lots) due to presence of Sildenafil and Tadalafil. The recalled products were distributed Nationwide via internet sales.

Allergy Alert (Australia): Pure Foods Tasmania no.1 recalls Single Selection Classic Original Pate (125g; Use by 23/10/2017; Batch 53) due to undeclared fish. The recalled product was sold at IGA’s, Ritchies, Food Works and independent stores in NSW, VIC and WA.

Allergy Alert (New Zealand): Venerdi Ltd recalls Venerdi brand Gluten Freedom Quinoa and Chia bread (495g loaves; Best before 28 09 17) due to unclear labelling about the presence of an allergen (sesame). The recalled product was sold in supermarkets throughout New Zealand.

Food Safety Recall (Australia): Pinnacle drinks recalls various Mishka Vodka Drinks due to the potential for glass bottle to break upon opening.
