PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT: FDA is advising consumers to stop using certain production lots of Nopalina Flax Seed Fiber (powder) and Nopalina Flax Seed Fiber (capsules) due to possible Salmonella contamination. Please refer to the FDA notice for a list of affected production lots.

Food Safety Recall: Quesos La Ricura LTD. recalls Quesos La Ricura Queso Cotija, Cotija Cheese aged over 60 days (12-oz pkgs; Sell by dates May 20, 2020-3/ May 20, 2020-4) due to contamination with shigatoxin-producing E. coli.

Food Safety Recall: Amity Packing Company Inc. recalls Pre 95% LEAN/5% FAT GROUND BEEF (1-lb vacuum pkgs; Lot code 0060; Case code 11402; Use by/Freeze by 01/31/2020) due to foreign matter (thin, pliable plastic) contamination.

Food Safety Recall: Golden Pearl Trading Corporation, dba Dandy Food Products, recalls ready-to-eat Sugar Kid SALTED EGG FISH SKIN (113g; Product of Singapore) as the imported products were not presented for import re-inspection into the United States, and the products were imported from Singapore, a country ineligible to export ready-to-eat Siluriformes products to the U.S.

Food Safety Recall: Savannah Food Company, Inc. recalls certain formulations of Cornbread Dressing and Bread Stuffing that included frozen diced eggs supplied to the company by Almark Foods, due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
