Allergy Alert: Dakota Toms recalls Chicken Salad Croissant (dated 12/7/2021-1/12/2022) due to undeclared egg and milk. Product was distributed in South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and North Dakota to convenience stores and vending machines.
FDA Warning Letter: FDA issues Warning Letter to Sabra Dipping Company, LLC, after documenting multiple violations of the federal Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation and deficiencies in allergen labeling, and after finding both Salmonella in the company’s finished products and Listeria monocytogenes in the production environment.
