OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION UPDATE (Denmark): Statens Serum Institut reports that the outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis infections now comprises 15 confirmed cases in 5 different regions of the country. The source of the outbreak is still under investigation.

OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION UPDATE (Sweden): Swedish public health authorities report that they have now confirmed 16 cases of listeriosis due to a single Listeria monocytogenes variant in an outbreak that is believed to be linked to cold-smoked or “buried” salmon.
