Food Safety Recall (Update): Everything Sprouts, LLC recalls Robust Radish Sprout Mix (5 oz; Lots 223, 226, 230, & 233; UPC 087906000075) due to possible contamination with Salmonella and/or shiga toxin-producing E. coli. The recalled product was distributed from August 13, 2026 to August 26, 2026 to wholesale distributors and to grocery stores located in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Food Safety Recall: Panorama Produce recalls size 9 (nine) mangoes (PLU #4584; UPC 07503061948050; Agrofepac, Produce of Mexico) due to possible Salmonella contamination. The recalled product was distributed August 10 through August 21, 2026 in CT, NY, NJ, and PA, and sold in select Walmart stores.

Food Safety Recall: Ron’s Home Style Foods, Inc. recalls Pico de Gallo (5 lb; Multiple batch codes and Use by dates) and Salsa Autentica (5 lb; Multiple batch codes and Use by dates) because the products were manufactured with jalapeño peppers that may be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled products were distributed in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Pet Food Safety Recall: A Place for Paws LLC recalls Beef Lung Treats For Dogs A Place for Paws Nothing But… the Basic Treat (5 oz; Lot 559) due to possible Salmonella contamination. The recalled product was distributed to consignees in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Pet Food Safety Recall: Northwest Naturals recalls Northwest Naturals Frozen Chicken Recipe (cat food and protein topper for dogs) (2 lb bags; Lot B-5; Best by 01/26/2028; UPC 087316384956) and Northwest Naturals Frozen Raw Diet for Dogs Chicken Recipe (6 lb bags; Lot B-19; Best by 01/25/2028; UPC 087316380392) due to possible Salmonella and/or Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recalled products were distributed to retail stores nationwide.

Food Safety Recall: Provigo Sandra Lacroix (Saint-Sauveur, QC) recalls SOUS-MARIN À LA DINDE / Turkey sub (240g; Best before 2026.AU29) due to generic E. coli contamination.

Food Safety Recall: Viande à bas prix (Repentigny, QC) recalls multiple chicken and seafood products that lack labeling providing cooking instructions for these raw products.

Outbreak/Illness Investigations

UNITED KINGDOM UPDATE: The UK Health Security Agency continues to track three separate clusters of Salmonella Enteritidis infections totaling 474 confirmed cases. Two deaths have been reported. Investigations to date point to consumption of imported eggs as the source of the outbreak clusters.

USA UPDATE: CDC continues to investigate 10 multistate outbreaks of Salmonella illnesses totalling 1,061 confirmed cases in 46 states and Puerto Rico. Two people have died and 234 has been hospitalized. Almost a quarter of the sick people in these outbreaks are children under 5 years old. The outbreaks are linked to contact with backyard poultry.

USA UPDATE: CDC reports that its investigation into the infant botulism outbreak linked to Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Powdered Infant Formula has ended. The FDA continues to investigate the root cause of the contamination that led to the outbreak.
