Outbreak/Illness Investigations

USA (Cyclospora update): Michigan reports 11,508 total cases, including 2 deaths, as of August 4, 2026. New Hampshire reports 32 cases (up from 17 one week ago) linked to the Taylor Farms outbreak. One victim reported eating recalled product outside of New Hampshire. Indiana reports 1,524 total cases since May 1, 2026. Illinois reports 631 domestically acquired Cyclospora illnesses in the state, including 58 hospitalizations, as of August 4, 2026. Kansas reports 461 confirmed and probable cases, with 20 hospitalizations. West Virginia reports 280 total cases, including 20 people hospitalized as of August 4, 2026.
