FDA Consumer Alert: FDA advises consumers, retailers, and distributors not to eat, sell, or serve products from Pan-African Food Distributors Inc. dba East Africa Boutique LLC, because the products were held under insanitary conditions with potential contamination with filth.
Food Safety Recall: The Coastal Companies recalls 17 products that were produced from cucumbers grown by Bedner Growers, Inc. and distributed by Fresh Start Produce Sales, Inc. due to possible Salmonella contamination.
Food Safety Recall: Hormel Foods Corporation recalls Dinty Moore BEEF STEW (20 oz cans; Lot code T02045; Best by FEB 2028) due to foreign matter contamination (wood).
Food Safety Recall: Supreme Service Solutions LLC. (dba Supreme Produce) recalls multiple salads and other items containing cucumbers purchased from Bedner Growers due to possible Salmonella contamination. The recalled items were distributed to Kroger and its affiliated retail stores located in IN, IL, OH, KY, TN, MS, MO, AR, and MI.
FDA Warning Letter: FDA warns Golden Grains Bakery that a June 17, 2024, through June 20, 2024 inspection of the company’s ready-to-eat (RTE) food manufacturing facility located in Charlotte, NC revealed serious violations of the Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventative Controls for Human Food regulation.
FDA Warning Letter: FDA warns Wailea Agricultural Group, Inc. that a January 16 and 17, 2025 inspection of the company’s farm located in Hakalau, HI revealed serious violations of the Standards for the Growing, Harvesting, Packing, and Holding of Produce for Human Consumption regulation (Produce Safety regulation).
