United States

OUTBREAK INVESTIGATION: CDC, along with its federal and state partners, is investigating an outbreak of two cases of Listeria monocytogenes illnesses linked to consumption of “Soft Serve On The Go” Ice Cream Cups, manufactured by Real Kosher Ice Cream of Brooklyn, NY. Both outbreak victims were hospitalized. The manufacturer has recalled all flavors of the implicated ice cream, and has suspended production.

Allergy Alert: Unilever United States Inc. recalls select Knorr Sopa Soup Mix products due to undeclared egg. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products.

Food Safety Recall : Nestlé USA recalls NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough “break and bake” Bar (16.5 oz; Batch code 311457531K and 311557534K; Best by 8/22/23 and 10/23/23, respectively) due to possible foreign matter contamination (wood fragments).

Canada

Allergy Alert: TFI Foods Ltd. recalls four varieties of Bento brand Squid Seafood Snacks due to undeclared egg. Please refer to the recall notice for a complete list of affected products.

Food Safety Recall: Ultimate Imports recalls Soft Serve on the Go brand frozen dessert cups (8 oz cups; All flavors; All units sold up to and including August 10, 2023) due to Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recalled products were sold in Québec and Ontario.

Food Safety Recall: 5002589 Ontario Inc. recalls Monster brand Caffeinated Energy Drinks (All flavours which contain caffeine and do not have bilingual (English and French) labelling) due to various non-compliances related to caffeine content and labelling requirements.
